Ismet Himmet is the first foreigner to open a "martial arts academy for the systematic training of Internal martial arts principles” in China. His academy in Hainan is one of the very few elite training centers, that combine professional Combat training with classic high-level Internal Martial Arts training, rooted in the old, deep principles of Daoist Internal Martial Arts, which Ismet Himmet as 15th generation lineage holder of Wudang Xuan Wu Pai gives on to the next generation. It is his passion, enthusiasm and heart that is devoted toward keeping these principles alive and evolving.
Ismet Himmet has been devoted to martial arts for over 3 decades. And for the past 13 years he has concentrated purely on Internal Styles. In the year 2000, already trained as a martial arts instructor, Ismet Himmet travelled to the PR China, for intensive training in Internal Martial Arts. In this time he lived and learned in monasteries, castles and academies for 5 years with renowned masters of the internal arts. Every year Ismet Himmet travels overseas to give seminars in Europe and other countries around the world. In these seminars he teaches classic Wudang Xuan Wu Pai as well as Internal Mixed Martial Arts. Internal Mixed Martial Arts take the principles, the way of body movement (Shen Fa) and Internal style based techniques and bring them into a modern fighting environment. IMMA also takes the knowledge from modern fighting sciences, like MMA, Western Boxing, Thai Boxing, Jiu Jitsu, Wrestling and Sanda, to develop highly-skilled fighters without limits.

Catharina Costanzo was since young age fascinated by the world of forms, of movements and the human body. Her desire to express and understand the things she perceived first led her to complete the school for sculpturing arts in Hallstein, Austria. But in 2001 she got into contact with different forms of dance and martial arts, such as New Dance, Aikido and Escrima. This encounter led her to a great, 10 year long journey to different places in Asia on search for ancient knowledge and wisdom. She studied meditation and yoga with different teachers and in different ashrams in India, massage and dance in Thailand and traditional Gongfu in China, where she finally found her home in Wudang Gongfu, which she trains since 2005. Since 2015 she is teaching Fundamentals of WDP Classic at the WDP China Academy.”
