The School offers students the opportunity to study traditional kungfu with experienced masters and instructors. At the school you can learn, Sanda, Shaolin, Xingyi Quan, Baguazhang and Shengli style Taichi.
The Masters. The Schools founder Master Zhang Shengli primarily teacher private classes on request and the daily running of the school falls to the schools head instructor Zhang Yu Xuan. Zhang Yu Xuan is a graduate of the Beijing Police Academy and is an experienced instructor of traditional martial arts. His specializes is in Zhang Style Taich, Bagua, Xingyi and Chinese philosophy.
The location of the school is Xi Tang Zi Hu Tong, Dong Cheng Qu and it is tucked away in a Beautiful Qing Dynasty Courtyard conveniently located close to Dengshikou, subway station on line 5. Private classes and a number of group classes are also taken in Ritan Park in Chaoyang District.

Master Zhang Shengli - Founder, Beijing Milun School. Zhang Sheng Li Zhang Shengli is an internationally recognized martial arts champion with an unparalleled understanding of traditional kungfu history and philosophy. He has been a lead instructor for the special forces of the Beijing Police Academy, performed for the UN in Chicago and been featured on the BBC, NBC and China’s CCTV. Since childhood, Zhang has fully devoted his life to the study of an enormous range of martial arts, with his earliest practice focused on different forms of Shaolin, Chinese Kickboxing (Sanda), Shuaijiao Wrestling and Taekwondo. Following his graduation from the Sichuan Athletics University, Zhang took two consecutive national titles in the China Lightweight Men's Sanda Boxing Championships. For the last two decades, Zhang’s work has focused on Chinese internal martial arts. After moving to Beijing, modern China’s cultural hub of internal martial arts, Zhang sought out and trained daily with the city’s most famous elder masters of Taichi, Baguazhang and Xingyi. Zhang believes that the study of martial arts is empty without philosophy, and his understanding of traditional Chinese philosophical texts, such as the Daoist Yi Jing (I-Ching) and Dao De Jing, is deeply evident in his practice. He holds an honorary research appointment at Peking University for his work promoting martial arts and culture, and is also a noted Calligrapher whose work is endorsed by the Beijing City Government. With the aim of furthering the perfection of a unified internal and external kungfu practice, Zhang has now developed his own highly renowned style of Taichi, Baguazhang and Xingyi, currently taught and practiced by his students worldwide.
Master Zhang Yuxuan - Head Instructor, Taiji, Xingyi, Bagua Zhang Yu Xuan Zhang Yuxuan has been the Head Instructor at the Beijing Milun School of Traditional Kungfu since 2004. He has performed internal martial arts on CCTV, China’s national Chinese television station, as well as the BBC and NBC. Zhang has taught students from all over the world and travels annually to give workshops in the United States. Zhang Yuxuan is a national Sanda Kickboxing champion, and in 2002 he won the title in the China Lightweight Men's Division. Zhang studied Sanda Kick Boxing and Taekwondo at the Beijing Sports College and Qinna locks at the China Police University. Originally from Henan Province, Instructor Zhang Yuxuan has been the leading disciple of Master Zhang Shengli for almost a decade. In 2005, Zhang participated in the First International Wushu Competition in Beijing, demonstrating Xingyi and Taiji. He received first place in Taiji demonstration, and third place in Xingyi demonstration. In 2006, he participated in the Second International Wushu Competition, demonstrating Taiji and receiving first place.
Master Zhao Yunlong - Shaolin Kungfu Instructor Zhao Jin Chao Zhao Yulong is a graduate of Shaolin Temple's Tagou School, where he trained for four consecutive years in traditional and modern Wushu. Zhao currently teaches Sanda Boxing and Shaolin at the Beijing Milun School of Traditional Kungfu. He is the 2006 Shaolin Temple Men's Champion of Hand and Weapons forms and was a featured performer in the 2008 Beijing Olympics Closing Ceremony. He is proficient with the sword, staff, whip and spear. Zhao Yulong is a specialist in martial arts-specific fitness and physical conditioning.
Master Jin Chengsheng - Shaolin Kungfu Instructor Zhao Jin Chao Jin Chengsheng is one of Beijng’s few traditionally trained Masters of Chuojiao Fanzi, one of the oldest Shaolin martial arts still in existence. With roots dating back to the Song Dynasty, Chuojiao Fanzi is recognized for being developed and tested by generations of not just individuals but entire armies. Jin is a disciple of Wu Binlong (1898-1977), China’s most famous modern teacher of Chuojiao Fanzi. In 1945, Wu was selected as one of China’s 10 Great Martial Arts Masters. Passionately committed to martial arts since childhood, Jin specializes in Chuojiao Fanzi’s Da Fanzi, Xiao Fanzi, Yanqing Fanzi and Cun Fanzi forms, but also draws on his extensive experience with internal martal arts. He is skilled in several weapons including the long tassel sword, the spear, the broadsword and the staff. In 2006 at the Beijing University International Wushu Open, Jin took first place in Fanzi Forms, and first place in Sword Forms. In his teaching practice, Jin focuses on fully mastering key fundamentals and trains his students with specific exercises to strengthen the structure of the body.
